PAVLOS ANTONIADIS

Born in Athens, 1978, he started taking music lessons at the age of 8. He studied classical piano with Chrissi Partheniadi at Philippos Nakas Music School and took his piano diploma in 2001, graded "Excellent and First Prize Unanimously". In 2002 he entered the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag (Holland) and studied piano with Geoffrey Douglas Madge. He has given solo recitals in Athens (Nei Dromi gia tous Neous) and Iraklio, Crete and has taken part in contemporary music concerts by "Altera Musica" company. In 2003 he was chosen by the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA Greece) for a series of recitals in Athens and other cities and he was an active member in master classes with Dmitri Bashkirov and Jean–Claude Pennetier. He is also a distinguished graduate of the University of Athens, Department of Music Studies, and is currently working on his dissertation on composer Nikos Skalkotas.

Pavlos Andoniadis has also studied Advanced Music Theory (harmony, contrapunct, fuge) at the Athenaeum Conservatory with Panagiotis Adam. He currently teaches piano and music theory at Philippos Nakas Music School and St. Lawrence College.
