Born and raised on Kalimnos Island, she studied Preschool Teaching at the University of Athens, Pedagogical Department. Soon after starting to live in Athens, she enrolled in the Department of Music Studies of the same university and from then on she took part in many music performances and was awarded with a scholarship. At the same time, she took Byzantine Music lessons at Simon Karas's School.

At the age of 21, she started working with Marisa Koch and performs in her concerts around Greece.

In 1995-2001 she also worked with Orfeas Peridis, Christos Tsiamoulis, Nena Venetsanou, Petros Gaitanos et al.

In 1997-2001 she participated in Dimitra Galani's tours in Greece, Cyprus, Belgium, France, Germany, Ukraine and Australia.

From 1996 until 2001, she participated in music performances of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women in the Herod Atticus Theatre.

In August 2001, she won the 3rd Prize at the International Folk Music Festival in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. In spring 2002, together with Nikos Ikonomidis, she takes part in the Greek Music Festival in America, performing folk songs of the Aegean Sea in New York, Boston and Chicago.

She has participated in music productions of Orfeas Peridis, Christos Tsiamoulis, Kostas Macedonas, Marisa Koch, Michalis Koubios and Anastassia Moutsatsou. Her own releases are Avra Thalassini (Sea Breeze, 1996), featuring traditional and contemporary songs, edited by Christos Tsiamoulis, and Edo Ksipnoun ta Onira (Here is Where Dreams Wake Up, 1999) featuring songs written by Giorgos Fratzolas.
