Born in 1975 in Plaka, Athens, he studied classical contrabass at the Athens Conservatoire with Anastassios Kazaglis. He also took music lessons with Alexandros Tzoumanis. He has worked with Manos Hatzidakis's Orchestra of Colours, the Symphony Orchestra of ERT (Hellenic Broadcastin Corporation), the Camerata Orchestra of the Megaron (the Athens Concert Hall) and many other Greek orchestras.

His first collaboration with Tatiana Ligari and the "Treno sto Rouf" (Train at Rouf) Railway Theatre was in 2002-2003 for the musical theatre performance Thelete Dendr' Anthissete, thelete Marathite (Trees, bloom or not it's no matter to me), whereas in theatrical seasons 2003-2004 & 2004-2005 he took part in Ip' Atmon (All Aboard) and in the musical dance performance Kiria Moussiki, Chorevete? (Mrs. Music, Shall We Dance?, 2005-2006).
