Soti Triandafilou was born in Athens in 1957. She studied Pharmaceutics, French Literature, American History and History of the American City in Athens, Paris and New York. She has worked as translator, journalist and professor of American History in a South Bronx High School.
Her latest book, Ligo Apo to Ema Sou (Some of Your Blood) is a novel about a lame poem and about a series of violations in a wound of the Earth, the Tectonic Trough of Kenya. Everything happens in a wound of Time; Lydia's breathtaking love on a convertible that crosses London in the middle of the night; another love, a slow one; and a third love, a suspended one. The facts of life; friendship; religion; envy; the games memory plays; fate; a crime (Who killed Lord Erol?); a butler reading Marx. In this book everything is real, but nothing in certain.
