JULIE TSOLKA
Actor


Born in Athens, 1982, she is a graduate of the Arsakio School of Psichiko and a distinguished graduate of the Veakis Drama School (2004). She studied piano (3 years), singing (4 years), classical ballet (10 years), modern dance, tap dancing and jazz dancing (4 years).

She has worked for the Greek National Theatre in Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by G. Iordanidis (2004-5), and in M. Cervantes’s Don Quixote, directed by S. Tsakiris (2005-6). She has also worked with Theatromathia theatre group (Τ. Chrisoulis) in O. Wilde’s The Selfish Giant (2006), and in T. Chrisoulis’s Stou Chronou to Aloni Pezoun i Dimitra ki i Persefoni (On Time’s Threshing Floor Play Dimitra and Persefoni, 2006-2007). She held the part of Maria in the production by the Dipilon theatre group of L. Papadopoulos’s and R. Mouzenidou’s En Thermo (In Red Blood), directed by R. Mouzenidou (2007). She also took part in Kleftes ke Astinomi (Police and Thieves – Harlequin) and in Pou Pame? (Where Are We Going? –Colombina), directed by Athina Kefala, in 5 Variete, directed by N. Orfanos (2007-8), Alice in Wonderland (Cheshire Cat) with the Kitaro theatre group (2008-2009), while singing in P. Abatzis’s musical Zito ta Laika Koritsia (Long Live the Simple Girls) directed by M. Mitrousis. She also took part in S. Stangos’s and M. Athini’s short film O Mikros Indianos (The Little Indian Boy, 2002) and in the following TV series: Lakis o Glikoulis (Lakis, the Cutie –Sofia, 2009), Latremeni mou Gitones (My Beloved Neighbours –Irene, 2007), Enas Minas ke Kati (One Month or So, 2007), Esi Apofasizeis (The Choice is Yours, 1994).
