A suitcase, a hat, an umbrella, a pair of gloves and a snuffbox… Atmosphere, mood and style of bygone eras dress up episodes about great romances and great journeys. Romances born in a rail car, at a Parisian station. Unfulfilled romances, which became songs, written on the back of a pack of cigarettes, near Rome. Journeys on a one-way ticket to exotic places, beyond Brazil…
Joy and sorrow, laughter and tears, black and white interchange in this special, retro, musical.
Fellow travellers are Perikles Biskinis at the accordion and the piano, Yiorgos Koutras at the clarinet and the guitar …and of course the passengers of the Orient Express.
