To Treno sto Rouf keeps on… spoiling its audience with frequent jazz evening and important artists of the greek jazz scene. Similarly, on Saturday the 20th of February, the Theater Wagon is hosting a special jazz band, having a background based on a variety of influences.
KoKo is a jazz trio, which has already been seen and heard in many jazz -and also not exclusively jazz- music scenes of the town. It consists of Elissavet Mitsou (vocals and guitar), Pantelis Benetatos (vocals and piano) and Haris Pantazis (contrabass). Their music, retaining always the acoustic character of the idiosyncratic and unique Nat King Cole trio, starts from swing rhythms and bebop music diamonds and reaches latin tunes and brazilian bossa nova.
