Two separate jazz concerts

The exceptional jazzman Minas Alexiadis makes his annual comeback at the Railway Carriage Theater to Treno sto Rouf special, playing together with top colleagues from the Athenian jazz scene. In two distinct concerts, each with a different guest soloist, they present a carefully chosen repertoire of jazz blues, ballads, hard-bop and latin pieces.
Guest artists are the saxophone players Dimitris Tsakas (on the 5th of February) and Takis Paterelis (on the 12th of February).
The quartet is improvising and interpreting compositions by Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Thelonious Monk, Cole Porter and many others as well as playing famous jazz standards.
