The Greek Artist of  fado Kalliroi Raouzeou and the maker of  Fado rebetiko Project, travels from France and  gets on the Music Wagon Orient Express to travel us to the "saudade", that is, to a deeply emotional world where anticipation, nostalgia, pain, sorrow, joy, happiness and love coexist.

The singer, composer and pianist  Kalliroi Raouzeou  has played with her quartet  in festivals and theaters all over France, she has collaborated with important artists and ensembles, she has been awarded by Musiques d' Ici et d' Ailleurs and she has recorded two albums  with fado arrangements and musical compositions and rebetiko songs.

Accompanied by a musician, she sings and plays on the piano original compositions from her latest album and adaptations of the Portuguese blues.

Kalliroi Raouzeiou is a singer, composer and pianist, lives and works in France. She attended the Music High Scholl of Pallini, studied piano and harmony at the  National Conservatory, studies musicology at Ionian University,  as weall as acting at the G. Theodosiadis Theater of Athens. From a very young age,  along with her studies, she becomes singer – pianist with a wide and fine repertoire. At Corfu she collaborated with the Ionian Theater, the Free Improvisation Ensemble, the Corfu Conservatory, the Corfu Stage, as well as the the University Jazz Ensemble with which she presented her diploma concert The French Song of the Interwar Period. In Athens she collaborated with many artists and has sung at the Megaron The Athens Concert Hall (ERT choir), Tean in the Sahara, the National Conservatory, the French Institute, Little Paris of Athens, Aliko and many more. Her acquaintance with the floating troupe La Nef des Fous marked her life change and settlement in the South of France. For four consecutive years she wrote the music and played for the performances of the multi-member burlesque ship-theater L’ Eloge de la Folie d’ Erasmus, Sindbad le Marin, Cabarets des Fous and many more.   Inspired by the multicultural Marseille, she learns to sing fado, creats the Fado Rebetiko Project to interpret the Mediterranean Blues. With her quartet  has played in festivals and theaters all over France, she has collaborated with important artists and ensembles, she has been awarded by Musiques d' Ici et d' Ailleurs and she has recorded two albums  with fado arrangements and musical compositions and rebetiko songs. In France she has collaborated as a singer, pianist and composer with importants artist and ensembles: the Les Dames de la Joliette quintet, the AnouSkan Dance group, the translator Michel Volokovitch, the Maison du Chant, the Compagnie Rassegna, the Theates des Calanques, Fred Pichot, Cédrick Bec and others. Her latest synthetic work, the Topographia album with the Zoppa jazz soundtrack, which she created with the Spanish musician Sylvie Paz, will be released in the spring of 2022 by Socadisc.
