The female music-trio 1 2 3 Swing, after their successful appearance at the Railway Carriage Theater Wagons during last winter, returns to the cool Apovathra, in a special music summer evening, which will thrill the enthusiasts of jazz and swing music scene of the city.
The opera-educated members of 1 2 3 Swing created a trio inspired by the equivalent American groups of the ‘30s, like Andrews Sisters. Their appearances at music stages always get rave reviews from the press and the audience.
The tree performers, together with Nikos Drogosis at the Hammond and Manos Loutas at the contrabass, consist an atmospheric jazz-swing group, which brings to life the glam of past decades. Drawing on their experience and talent, they present a show full of spirits and vintage style, which includes swing favourites, like “Boogie Woogie”, “Sincerely”, “In the mood”, “Lollipop” and many others, but also unexpected adaptations of greek all-time-classics.
