Final Performance: January, 31st 2012
Αt the Music Wagon Orient Express,we present the musical “Fa(K)eBook Stories”, in collaboration with the band Vice Versa and the choreographer Pepi Zacharopoulou.
This is a very original show, where music and modern dance narrate the parallel lives of two young people, who met on the internet, in a contemporary city such as Athens. The protagonists (2 dancers), a man and a woman who would never match in real life, become "friends" in Facebook, presenting a fake image of themselves. So basically they never know each other...
The songs (both greek and foreign), the original music composition and the movement improvisations with te hlelp of texts, sound effects and lightings, turn the music wagon into the characters' personal space, working environment, subway, gym, the crowded streets of Athens and finally the place where they will meet face to face for the first time. Or is it fake to fake?
