Every Thursday in the Music Wagon Orient Express, singer and actress Artemis Matafia presents a musical-theatrical performance-tribute to prominent female personalities of the international and Greek pentagram.

Twenty unique performers, twenty separate stories in the first person, in a performance interspersed with songs, narrations and events from the life of each personality. 

This special palimpsest of musical genres, stories and eras is uniquely combined by Artemis Matafia with her interpretation and stage comfort, honoring some of the greatest singers in the world.

Artemis Matafia is a Greek awarded performer, lyric soprano, actress and also a vocal coach and voice actress. Her singing and dancing career started in folklore-traditional Greek bands at her early years. She has taken classical vocal education with great teachers on Greek National Conservatoire while studying classical guitar. She has also obtained performing experience in Musical Seminars while living in London UK for two years, continuing in Athens. 

During the last years she works on Music Stage Productions, on TV Shows and on Theatre Productions while collaborating with famous Greek Composers, Conductors and  several Artists. She also performs as a voice actress in several TV shows and on DISNEY/NETFLIX movies.  

She arranges and performs on personal music programs in Athens and all around Greece. She is also a song writer (lyrics and music), while having the ability to sing in various languages and in many repertoires including classic musicals and pop – jazz.
