Spyros Panagiotopoulos &the new BFAM| MOON-SHINE

For a unique night, the great jazzman Spyros Panagiotopoulos returns to the Train-Theater to Rouf with his quartet the new BFAM (Brothers from another mother). The distinguished drummer will present his new album MOON-SHINE at the Wagon Theater on Thursday, November 28, at 21:00.

With an uninterrupted presence in the international and Greek jazz scene, Spyros Panagiotopoulos has a multidimensional career that includes great collaborations (Markus Stockhausen, Arild Andersen, Andy Sheppard, Bendik Hofseth, Deborah Davis, Modinha, Jean Parker, Carla Cook, Karen Loop, Sheila Jordan & The Riyal Bopsters, Kevin Mahogany, Athens State Orchestra, ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra), large personal discography and recordings and important academic teaching in conservatories.

Apart from the new material, the program of the evening includes standards from the American Songbook adapted with inspiration and originality by the band that rightly belongs to the most important of the Greek jazz scene.
