The Children's Stage of the Train renews its successful collaboration with the talented ViDa group for the winter theater season 2023-24 and presents for the 2nd year the original theatrical performance "Nour's Magic Brush".

The show "Noor's Magic Brush" is an enchanting journey through emotions and colors with paintings that come to life before our eyes, a story full of adventures in a dreamlike atmosphere where anything can happen, as long as we let our imaginations travel freely !

A girl, Noor, escapes from her war-torn country, Guernica. She hitches a ride on a train alone, hoping it will take her to a place where she can live free. Exhausted as she is, she falls asleep. Two brothers travel on the same train who, without realizing it, suddenly find themselves in the girl's dream! There they meet the talkative Wizard, the four-legged Cat and the magic brush in a colorful 'surreal' world of great paintings that come to life (!) - but to get out of each painting, they have to overcome increasingly complex obstacles... They transform to Picasso's blue Harlequins, enter the blinding yellow world of Vincent van Gogh, chat with the Mona Lisa and finally... manage to open Rothko's big red door - and who knows what they will find in front of them!

Through this original theatrical journey, the young spectators discover that their imagination gives them the necessary resources to search for their dreams, they learn to find a solution where there seems to be a dead end and when they are called upon to overcome their fears, then all together, united, they discover the joy of cooperation and the great value of friendship.

Will the girl from Guernica succeed in making her dream come true? And what will happen at the last train station?

The show is enriched with original music and songs, from impressive video projections that transform the Theater Car and create a feast of images and colors!!

A few words about the Vida team:
The newly established ViDa theater group consists of the actress and theater teacher Vicky Kalpaka and the actress, musician and psychologist Dafni Kafetzis who have a remarkable career in the theater and special experience in teaching theater to children. The ViDa group was founded with the purpose of conducting theatrical performances for children and adults and aiming to research and search for innovation in theater and art. In the show "Noor's Magic Brush" she collaborates with a group of experienced as well as young talented artists.
