The acclaimed musical work by Nena Venetsanou returns for four additional Wednesdays

Following the strong reception of last season’s performances, Nena Venetsanou returns this November to the Railway Carriage Theatre to Treno sto Rouf for four more Wednesdays with her deeply moving music production Stiff Violets (Sklirés Violétes).

In this latest work, the renowned vocalist and composer sets to music the poetry of 20th-century German-speaking and Greek women poets — voices that survived the war and transformed destruction into words of high art and hope.

With lyricism, emotional depth, and the accompaniment of outstanding musicians, Nena Venetsanou boards the Theatrical Wagon to pay tribute — eighty years after the end of WWII — to those women poets who resisted silence, believed in hope, and raised their art against oblivion.
