The internationally awarded performer George Tziouvaras - Tenorman and the Railway Carriage Theater to Treno sto Rouf present The One Hundred Years of Pablo Etienne Beauvoir, an explosive musical-theatrical performance that marries music, fiction and audience participation.
The interactive musical tells the mysterious life of legendary spy Pablo Etienne Beauvoir. Born in 1925 aboard the Orient Express to spy parents, Beauvoir witnesses the greatest historical events of the 20th century. Every new decade finds him in an Orient Express car living love, adventures, parties, movie scenes with celebrities of the time. In his memories parade mythical personalities: the young Elizabeth -before she was crowned Queen of England-, Picasso and Salvador Dali, Hitchcock and Agatha Christie, Einstein, Brecht, Frank Sinatra and the Beatles, the enigmatic Greek spy Teresa who will take him to prison. Even James Bond himself, with whom Pablo swears he once traveled!
100 years later, old man Etienne Beauvoir observes the snow from the window of the carriage, and we wonder: did he really return every 10 years to the Orient Express or did he never abandon the famous Train?
The original performance is a piano cabaret, where rock, pop, jazz and opera creatively collide. The audience is not just a spectator: they take on roles and become part of the action! Through iconic multilingual songs and the surreal stories of the unique Tenoram, the musical evolves into an experience full of adventure, nostalgia, humor and twists. With him every time, a mysterious surprise guest!
