In the Orient Express Music Carriage, Tatiana Ligari directs her new musical production, LOVE’S NO EXPRESS TRAIN, a romantic fairytale especially written for the Railway Carriage Theatre To Treno sto Rouf by Agathi Dimitrouka. A romantic tale, it tells the story of a man and a woman, Filyros and Melirroi, who meet by chance on a railway platform and fall madly in love. We experience the passions, jealousies, partings and elation only true love can bring through a selection of much-loved Greek songs carefully chosen to match the imagery and emotions of the poetic, humorous, surreal atmosphere of a classic love story.
In an original twist, the outcome of the affair is left to the audience to decide: they are invited to vote for either a happy or a dramatic finale.
Vasilis Gisdakis, more sensual and mature than ever before, and Antigone Evstratoglou, whose voice is in truly fine form, are accompanied by a five-piece band.
